Jennifer Hershman, Vancouver based International vocalist, songwriter, artist, musician, producer, and mentor, has formed a very diverse career for herself. She has charted in the Billboard Dance charts with her single ‘Sweet Allure’ in the top 5, and subsequently toured with the recording act that was signed to RCA/BMG, playing to sold-out venues such as The El Ray, Bimbo’s, and The Infamous Bowery Ballroom. Her songs have been translated and recorded and released in Portuguese and Mandarin, with major label artists, ‘The Max girls’ and ‘Vickie and Michelle’. Jennifer is a frequent fixture in the Dance/House/Electronic scene as well with a handful of singles, released through Armin Van Buuren’s Armada records, and Tiesto’s Blackhole records, working with artists such as Airscape, Tucandeo, Alkatraz, and Tigerforest, to name a few.
Jennifer has also had TV appearances on Cory Feldman’s Hit reality show ‘The 2 Coreys’ (A&E), where she sang vocals in Corey’s band, and was featured in a National Subway Sandwich Commercial AD campaign. Outside of being spotted on TV, Jennifer’s songs and voice have been credited to many TV and Film placements, such as: ‘The Chris Isaak Show’, ‘Higher Ground’, MOW ‘The party never stops’ (Lifetime Network) and HBO’s ‘Cathouse’ (She was also hired to songwrite for a scene in the show).
Her current Singer/Songwriter Solo release ‘These are The ways’ has received much love on the airwaves across Canada on CBC Radio, and songs from her EP are placed in the documentary film ‘Let them be kids’ which will premiere in June/2012 in 5 cities across Canada. Jennifer co-wrote the EP with Chin Injeti (Grammy winner with Eminem, 50 Cent, Drake, and Dr. Dre) and Eric Solomon, And co-produced the album with Joe Cruz. She has appeared on Wes Craven’s ‘Cursed’ Movie Soundtrack, and has recorded guide vocals for the likes of Kelly Clarkson, and worked with Ashwin Sood (Sarah Mclachlan), Rick May, (Michael Jackson), and Steve Dawson, (Jim Burns).
Jennifer also keeps herself busy Playing live, and mentoring young song-writers.
